Chlorella powder is a green, nutrient-rich powder made from the microalga Chlorella. Chlorella is grown in freshwater, where the algae biomass is collected through filtration. After that, the biomass is dried and ground into a fine powder.
Chlorella can be added to smoothies, juices, energy bars, pasta and baked goods, providing a natural green color. In the personal care industry, it can also be used in creams and scrubs for natural coloring. In the health & wellness industry, chlorella is also commonly used in tablets and capsules.
