Barley grass powder
A versatile green powder for the beverage and health & wellness industry
Barley grass powder is a green powder made from the young shoots of the barley plant (Hordeum vulgare), harvested before the grain develops. The shoots are carefully cut and washed to remove dirt and impurities. Then, the barley grass is dried and milled into a fine powder, suitable for various applications.
In the beverage industry, it can be blended into smoothies, juices and (green) shakes. In cooking and baking, the barley grass can be added to baked good or energy bars.
