About Us

Z-Company is a Dutch food manufacturer and trader. We produce hemp products, plant based proteins and trade with +80 different natural food ingredients across the entire European Union. We produce our ingredients in Eindhoven, where our HQ and warehouse is located, while the Copenhagen office provide support across sales, marketing and network building. We have worked with +3000 food companies the past 6 years and we continue to grow each year.

Our purpose

Together with our growers, producers and value chain partners we want to eat our way to a more wholesome food culture and lifestyle. This means, that we only work with nutritious plant-based and natural ingredients, which are not chemically produced or over-processed. Z-Company is the important link between our farmers, cooperatives and producers and the rest of the consumer markets. Working with plant-based ingredients is part of our mission to promote climate-friendly and organic food inline with planetary boundaries. Hereby contributing to improved social well-being and life quality through nutritious products.

Your role: To expand our outreach and sales into selected EU markets

The plant based food industry is riding on a wave of innovation, partnerships and growth, which means that we need more hands and talent onboard. As our intern in the sales department, you will be charged with the responsibility of promoting the plant based food agenda across Europe. You will be helping companies increase the share of natural food ingredients in their portfolio hereby contributing to a more wholesome food culture. In doing so, you will be work with sales and outreach with selected food markets in EU. You will have the following tasks:
  • Sales coordination and customer service
  • Negotiation and manage supplier relationships
  • Suggests new trade opportunities and product development
  • Keep track of international market developments
  • Contribute to continuously improve the work procedures and CRM system

Your Qualifications

  • We expect that you are currently enrolled in a bachelor or masters program studying business, trade/commerce
  • Strong language skills – the more the stronger qualifications
  • You have an affinity with either plant based food or the food industry
  • You are passionate about building new markets, client relations and to provide good customer service
  • An “international” mindset, result driven, attention to detail and a team player
  • Previous work experience demonstrating your skills and results is a bonus


  • Fulltime or part time
  • Monthly remuneration
  • Start: As soon as possible and 6 months onwards
  • Workspace in Nordhavn, Copenhagen
  • Possibility of full-time job after your master studies end
  • Training and mentorship provided
